Happy Valentine's Day!
Its time for another video post - one dedicated to making creme brulee for the first time. I had two magnificent assistants, Korinna and Amy, to help in this adventure. Glad it was not a failure as we needed to master this delicious dessert for a dinner party we're having tomorrow night.
As you'll see in the video, I am no Barefoot Contessa, and I clearly like to make faces at all times! But regardless, I've never laughed so much while cooking and I'm pretty sure every topic imaginable was covered during this process. Side note: Its great to have friends that 1) get your humor and 2) mesh well together! Anyways this creme brulee turned out great - can't wait to serve it tomorrow night!
See the recipe and some photos below.
We followed Alton Brown's recipe for creme brulee, which can be found here. All we did was add a small bottle of Godiva White Chocolate Liquor to kick it up a notch! Very easy and a little time consuming but well worth it for your own homemade creme brulee. Enjoy!
