Every Christmas, without fail, my mom always wants to put together gift baskets for extended family members and neighbors. This year I decided to take charge and create the baskets for her and it was sooo easy and pretty inexpensive. All I did was go to World Market, a great store with a variety of random finds, and pick out lots of different treats.
This year's baskets included everything from pumpkin spice bread mix, gourmet chocolate bars, blueberry muffin mix, hazelnut wafers, chocolate cookies, popcorn, sparkling juices and a variety of hot chocolates. A few specialized items were included to make the gifts more personal, like the latest issue of the Washingtonian magazine for my aunt who loves all things DC/VA. Arrange all your finds in cool holiday containers and your set!
